TWO acts have been revealed for this year’s Rasen Rocks music events at Market Rasen Racecourse.

Radio 1 DJ and TV presenter Scott Mills will appear on Saturday, August 17 to perform an outside set.

Two weeks later, pop band McFly, who celebrate their tenth anniversary in 2013, are on track for a concert to round off the summer.

Pip Kirkby, the racecourse’s general manager director, said: “Scott Mills and McFly are fantastic bookings for Rasen Rocks 2013."

“We’re delighted to welcome such a successful Radio 1 DJ to our racecourse and McFly are a hugely popular band and our spectators will love them when they bring their infectious music to the racecourse."

“Rasen Rocks has grown in popularity each year and 2013 promises to be the best yet. We’re expecting a rush for tickets for what will be two really good evenings for all the family to enjoy."

“They are two fun-filled occasions that are not to be missed this summer.”

From 16 January, tickets for both Saturday nights (17 and 31 August) will be available online at www.marketrasenraces.co.uk, by telephone on 0844 579 3009 or at the racecourse in person.

The prices are: County £25 (Scott Mills) / £29 (McFly); Tattersalls £20 / £24; Family £15 / £19. Children aged five years and over will cost £6 each for Scott Mills and £8 each for McFly. There is a maximum of four children’s tickets per paying adult.
